Ivey Foundation
Toronto, Canada

The Ivey Foundation’s mission, to improve the well-being of Canadians by focusing its energy and resources on selected issues of significance, has been carried out actively by three generations. With roots in London, Ontario, it helped establish that city as a centre of health-care excellence and home to a leading research – intensive university. Its early interest in the environment led to its current position as one of the premier founders of critical forest conservation initiatives in Canada. Throughout its long and rich history, the Foundation has maintained a resolute insistence on the pursuit and support of excellence, but has also embraced change as a necessary element in its evolution.
